We offer three levels of support:

  • Tier 1 – Full Turnkey Ownership: Complete setup of your own Mexican subsidiary and factory.
  • Tier 2 – Shelter Model: Operate under our IMMEX license (reduced risk, faster entry).
  • Tier 3 – Modular Support: Select à la carte services (e.g., HR, legal, IT, logistics).

On average:

  • Shelter model (Tier 2): 3–6 months.
  • Full subsidiary (Tier 1): 6–12 months (depending on plant customization and certifications).
  • Modular services (Tier 3): Immediate to 3 months, depending on scope.


We select sites strategically based on:

  • Final decision is made collaboratively, but Mi Expansion manages site selection and lease/build-to-suit setup.


The IMMEX program allows manufacturers in Mexico to:
